Speaking about the award Uachtarßn Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael Joan O’Flynn: “”I am delighted to congratulate Mary Donohue on receiving the GAA President’s Award for her contribution to Camogie in her native club The Harps in Laois. On behalf of the Camogie Association I am very pleased to recognise Mary and her family’s dedication and generosity in ‘giving something back’ and making a lasting contribution to her community””.

The GAA President’s Awards acknowledge the contribution of volunteers and are drawn from the wider spectrum of the GAA family, to include representatives from all four provinces, Camogie, Ladies Football, GAA Rounders, GAA Handball, Sc¾r and the Overseas and Schools sectors.

This year’s winners will also be presented to the crowd at Croke Park at half time in today’s AIB GAA Club Championship Football final.
