ò I am the current Ulster Camogie PRO and have helped organise and present the inaugural Ulster Camogie Awards which took place last November. I have also been involved in remodelling the Ulster Camogie Website and also in rolling out the innovative Ulster Players Forum which was held earlier this week.
ò I have previously worked for the Camogie Association providing roundups to National media on Championship and League games.
ò I have served as National Higher Education GAA PRO for a full five-year term (as permitted by rule) thus bringing plenty of experience of PR at a national level for a Gaelic Games body.
ò Press Releases, Reports, Photos, Results and Fixtures E-mails were part of my remit which extended to Audio content which was provided free of charge in terms of interviews and reports from launches and games to various National and Local Radio Stations and also some websites.
ò During this time a new sponsor was sought and successfully achieved in Ulster Bank – this brought my involvement as PRO to a new level in liaising directly with Ulster Bank and also their PR firm to ensure the competitions were known and mentioned as the Ulster Bank Sigerson Cup and the Ulster Bank Fitzgibbon Cup.
ò I have worked in the area of Sports Journalism, specialising in GAA, Camogie and Ladies football for almost eight years at both National and Local level for TV, Radio, Print and Online media including RTE, TV3, TG4, BBC, Hoganstand.com and Breakingnews.ie.
ò A proficient Irish speaker – I am a regular contributor to Raidio na Gaeltachta and I have also appeared on TG4.

ò Negotiations -National Broadcaster – secured time on Sunday Game for camogie All Ireland semi finals, regular negotiation with Irish Sports Council, Sports Partnership, and other statutory bodies.
ò Set up first Camogie PR committee – to maximize publicity for Centenary year and present a professional approach to media coverage. Provided training programmes, PR packages for PRO’s, production of quality programmes for all National Camogie games and events.

I served as Uachtarßn of the Camogie Association from 2003 – 2006 overseeing the Centenary Year of the Association. I have extensive experience to fill the position of PR & Communications Representative of An Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta in addition to my track record of passion and commitment to the promotion of camogie through a planned and sustained strategy. I was heavily involved with the production of “”Pride and Passion“” by Paul Rouse which won a Camogie Media Award 2009. I would like to put these skills and experience to the continued development of camogie and ensure that it is portrayed as a game attractive for girls to play and that the association is a vibrant forward thinking organization that conducts its business in a professional manner.
