Aoife McGrath says that Tipperary are just delighted to be in the last four and not considering the magnitude of attempting to dethrone the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior champions. 

Reigning champions Galway will put their crown on the line this weekend as they enter their first knockout match of the Championship. It has been a successful campaign to date for Cathal Murray’s side who finished top of their group to secure straight passage into the Semi-Final.

For many years this was the clash that seemed destined for Croke Park Final day, as was the case from 2016 to 2018 however for the second year in succession that is no longer the case as one of these two greats of the game will bow out of the Championship before All-Ireland Final day.

Down manager Derek Dunne was understandably “very happy”, after he watched his charges battle to a Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Semi-Final defeat of Meath by 0-14 to 0-8 at St Tiernach’s Park. 

The development of Camogie in Ulster was advertised in no uncertain terms, with the province set to provide all the contestants in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate and Premier Junior Championships Finals on December 5th.

Clare produced their best performance in a number of years before fading very late on against Cork in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter-Final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh last Saturday and Alannah Ryan is already looking forward to next season.

Fixtures – Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championships – 21.11.2020

The Camogie Association welcomes the decision by the Ladies Gaelic Football Association to re-arrange their upcoming All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Final fixture between Cork v Galway, to avoid a clash for dual players also competing in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship fixture between Cork v Kilkenny on Saturday November 28th.

The line-ups have now been confirmed for the 2020 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals which will take place on Saturday November 28th in Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Tipperary manager Bill Mullaney was understandably enthusiastic about the grit illustrated by his team to secure a deserved victory in appalling weather conditions at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, and set up a Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Final with champions Galway back on Leeside on November 28th. 

The verdict was in doubt until the last 15 minutes, including injury time, but in the end, Cork profited from their endeavours up to that juncture to pull away for an ultimately comfortable win.
