Loreto Kilkenny captured their third All-Ireland title in four years with an impressive 1-16 to 2-7 victory over St Brigids Loughrea in the All-Ireland Junior A Colleges final Saturday afternoon at Toomevara.

Sarah Anne Quinlan amassed a personal tally of 1-6 (0-1fs) with her goal coming early in the first half after a speculative shot deceived the Brigids keeper and found its way to the back of the net. The Kilkenny side were dominant throughout with Miriam Walsh, cousin of current Kilkenny star Tommy, leading the way and Orla Hanrick in unstoppable form contributing 0-6 (2fs, 2 45s).  

St Brigids were reliant on the forward duo of Lorraine Farrell who scored 1-5 with her goal coming in the 10^th minute while Rachel Monaghan chipped in with 1-2. Loreto, Kilkenny were the more cohesive side throughout and were simply too powerful for a young St Brigids outfit.

In the Junior B decider St Flannans Ennis defeated Northern side St Louis Grammar School, Ballymena 2-17 to 2-3 while in the C Final Grennan College, Thomastown and Presentation College, Thurles finished in deadlock at 4-8 each. The replay is fixed for next Saturday, March 27^th.

In the National Camogie League Division Two, Wexford defeated Limerick 3-11 to 2-8. Fiona Kavanagh scored 2-4 for the Slaneysiders with Stacey Keogh chipping in with 1-1. Three quick points by Brid Gordan (0-1) and Siona Nolan (0-2) before the break gave Wexford a lead they never relinquished. Niamh Mulcahy bagged 0-6 from play for Limerick with Orla Curtin scoring 0-2 and Vera Sheehan and Michelle Casey scoring a goal a piece. In the remaining Division Two fixture Down defeated Galway 2-11 to 0-9.

In Division Three, Armagh defeated Roscommon 3-7 to 1-7 while in the Division Four play off Tyrone beat London 1-12 to 1-3.
