Victory for Armagh in Carlow
 
Armagh Senior Camogie team had a convincing win over Carlow in the second game of the All Ireland Nancy Murray Cup Championship. The Orchard girls were in fine shooting form notching a total of 3 – 12 to 1 – 7. Armagh play Roscommon in the Atheletic Grounds Armagh in the next game of the Championship on Saturday at 3pm. The Primary Championship between St. Brenda’s Ballymacnab and Keady will be played as the opening game at 1pm. Promises to be a good day of camogie.


Congratulations to St. Brenda’s Ballymacnab on winning the All Ireland Feile in Tullamore Co Offaly over the weekend. Eimear Hayes Tullysarron represented Armagh in the Feile Skills Competition and finished in the top ten. Both St. Brenda’s Ballymacnab and Eimear were excellent ambassadors for Armagh Camogie at the Feile in Offaly. Also congratulations to Cuchulainn’s Hurling U-14 Team Armagh on their All Ireland success at the Feile.


St. Patrick’s Keady and St.John’s Middletown progressed through to the semifinals of the Armagh Senior Camogie Championship. Holders Keady will now meet St. Brenda’s Ballymacnab whilst Middletown will play Tullysarron.


Ulster Camogie Finals will be played in Esler Park Newry on Saturday 4th July. Ulster Junior Camogie Final will be contested by Tyrone and Monaghan. Antrim and Derry are in the Senior Ulster Camogie Final. Armagh camogs are encouraged to promote the Finals. Tickets can be obtained through club secretaries. This promises to be a fun packed day.
