MINI FEILE CAMOGIE COMPETITION 2008

As part of the Cumann CamogaÝochta na Gael’s Feile Plan 2008.  We are inviting all Camogie Feile teams from both Laois & Offaly to attend a Mini Feile Competition which will take place in TULLAMORE GAA GROUNDS ON MONDAY 2ND JUNE. The matches will commence at 11 am sharp.  All teams are asked to be at the grounds at 10.45 am at the latest. The finals are to be played in O’Connor Park.

This Competition is a fantastic opportunity for Feile teams to play in competitive matches against both Laois and Offaly teams in preparation for the Feile 2008 Competition, which is to be held on June 20th – 22nd.

Jenny Duffy, Regional Development Co-ordinator for South Leinster, is expecting a good turnout.  “”This is the final event that I will be running in preparation for the Feile na nGael 2008. The Coaching workshops, Blitz Days and Easter Camps that were held in both Laois and Offaly were all very well attended and the feedback from them was very positive so I am hoping for a huge turnout at this Mini-Feile Competition. It will be of huge benefit to all teams taking part as the Feile na Gael is coming up shortly and the excitement is building for it in all the camogie clubs here in Laois & Offaly””.
