This year has seen the GAA Youth Forum take to the road, landing firstly at the Dome, Semple Stadium, Thurles on September 6th and the Bush Hotel, Carrick on Shannon on September 27th.

Now, the National GAA Youth Committee are extending an invitation to young people aged 12 – 21 years of age to attend the GAA National Youth Forum on Saturday November 7th in Croke Park throwing in at 11:00am. The forum is open to all Gaelic games’ members from the GAA, LGFA and Camogie Association.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are under 18 years of age, it must be a parent/guardian that completes the details on your behalf.

What to Expect on the Day:

Morning Session – 11:00am – 12:15pm

Time Activity Breakdown
11:00am – 11:10am Youth Committee – Welcome/Opening/Context/Expectations
11:10am – 11:20am Gaelic Games related ice breakers/discussions/games
11:20am – 11:35am Congress introduction and process
11:35am – 12:15pm Proposal debates and voting
12:15pm – 1:00pm LUNCH

Afternoon Session 1:00pm – 3:00pm

1:00pm – 1:40pm Proposal debates and voting
1:40pm – 2:00pm Hear the players – Player Panel
2:00pm – 2:20pm Youth Panel – How to get involved as a young member
2:20pm – 2:30pm BREAK
2:30pm – 2:50pm President’s Panel – Youths for the Future
2:50pm – 3:00pm Closing – Youth Committee

There will be a mix of chat, debate, discussion and craic! Led by the National GAA Youth committee those in attendance will be encouraged to share their opinions and experiences of Gaelic games. Those who attend, will receive a GAA Youth Forum merch pack, snacks and lunch.

Take the opportunity to be involved in the GAA Youth Congress where the recommendations discussed at the regional youth forums will be further debated and decided upon. This process will support the National GAA Youth Committee in their future actions and reporting to GAA Congress.
