President of the Camogie Association, Joan O’Flynn has offered her sympathies on behalf of the Association to the family of Antrim Camogie player Karen Coyles, whose body was found on Thursday, September 22nd.
Karen, a member of McQuillan’s GAC, Ballycastle Camogie Club, was last seen on Sunday September 11th. The talented sportswoman had led her camogie team to All Ireland glory, earlier that weekend at the Camogie Sevens tournament in Dublin on Saturday, September 10th.

Karen had a wonderful involvement with the Association and was extremely active in many roles as both a player and administrator, acting as Chairperson of Ballycastle Camogie club. On behalf of the wider membership I want to extend sympathies to Karen’s extended family and to all members of McQuillan’s GAC, Ballycastle.””
