Best wishes to all teams travelling to the GAA Games Development Centre Abbotstown Dublin to take part in our National Hurl with Me Day on Sunday 7th July.
The event marks the end of a four-week coaching programme which saw parents/guardians train alongside their daughters, one night a week to learn the basic skills of the game in a fun and supportive environment, this is the initial step that looks to engage parents or guardians to become more involved in their daughter’s club in either a coaching or administrative role.
Over 900 hundred adults and U10 girls took part in this programme.
Thank you to all our tutors who facilitated this programme over the last few weeks and to the clubs who were so engaging and supportive of the initiative.
