Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael is Ireland’s leading women’s sporting organization. Since it was founded in 1904 it has grown to a playing membership of 100,000. The Camogie Association is an amateur sporting organization supported by the voluntary work of its members and a small full time team. It is committed to the development and promotion of camogie. As part of the “”Gaelic Games Family”” the Association works closely with the GAA. Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael is supported by the Irish Sports Council.

Sheila Wallace, the current Ardsti·rth¾ir, retires from the position shortly. The Central Council of Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael is now inviting applications to fill this executive position.

The person appointed, ideally a professional, will have management experience in either the private or public sector. Experience in business, sports administration or finance would be an asset. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential.  She/he will be responsible for developing the vision of the Association through the Strategic Plan and be capable of integrating the work of the voluntary members as well as providing strong leadership to a team of fulltime personnel.  A passion for and a knowledge of Gaelic games is essential.
