The ‘Family Fun Day’ is free and open to all in the Ballinasloe area. Lots of fun is guaranteed with bouncy castle and fun games. The National School children of the area have already participated in a ‘design a t-shirt’ competition for the day with everyone that attends will receive a t-shirt with the winning design on it. This day was made possible through RAPID funding from the Galway County Local Sports Partnership. It is hoped that those who come and try out the games will continue playing with the Ballinasloe Camogie/Hurling clubs. A Transition Year coaching programme was held for 4 weeks in Scoil Mhuire secondary school by the Camogie Development Co-ordinators so that these students will help out with the coaching on saturday next and in the club in general. For more information on the day please contact: Caroline Murray – Connacht Regional Co-Ordinator – cmurray@camogie.ie or 087 1251269
