The Camogie Association is rolling out its Level One camogie coaching course for Laois and Offaly over two weekends in February and March at Ballacolla GAA Hall, Laois. We are offering this course in the hope that the Feile camogie coaches from each club within Laois and Offaly would participate but it is open to any other interested camogie coaches. NCTC qualified and highly experienced tutors will present this course.

The course will cover every aspect of a coach’s role in teaching the skills of Camogie. This includes effective communication skills, skill development techniques, physical fitness, warm up, game strategy, principles of play and good practice.

SAT 2ND FEBRUARY 10.00 AM – 5.00PM

PREREQUISITES FOR ATTENDING THE COURSE

Foundation Camogie / GAA course completed, are over 18 and / or have played junior or senior Intercounty camogie, if you have experience of any of the aforementioned then you can apply to participate in this brand new up to date course developed by the National Camogie Coaching Committee and the National Training and Coaching Centre in University of Limerick.
