200 attend Ulster Coaching Conference 2016
Ulster camogie hosted two workshops at the Ulster GAA Coaching Conference on Saturday February 6th. Kelley Fay presented on the ‘Importance of Preparing to Win’ and Mary O Connor discussed the ‘Importance of retaining players and creating a positive Club Culture.’ 200 people from Ulster clubs attended the event.

13 attend Camán Get a Grip in new club in Kilworth in Cork. Tutor Eoin Breathnach (Waterford).
Meanwhile in Galway 25 coaches attended Camán Get a Grip in Bothár na Tra on Saturday February 6th. Tutors Richard McNicholas and Benny Kenny.
10 coaches attended Camán Get a Grip Course in Tournafulla Limerick
20 coaches attended the Camán Get Hooked course in St.Ibars/Shelmaliers GAA club in Wexford. Thanks to county development officer Joe Roche for organising the course and to local tutors Noel McSweeney and Ailish Whitty.
22 coaches from 10 clubs in Kilkenny attended the Camán Get Hooked Course in the Black and Whites GAA club in Kilkenny. Thanks to organiser Jerry Donovan (County Development Officer) and tutors Lizzy Byrne (Kilkenny) and Ger Gribben (Armagh).
Cumann na mBunscol Finals Armagh
The Armagh Cumann na Bunscoil finals took place on Monday February 8th in Silverbridge. Our Lady’s & St.Mochua’s PS Derrynoose beat CBS Armagh in the final with thanks to Gary Farrell of Our Lady’s & St. Mochua’s for coordinating the event.

Female Sports Forum Leadership Programme
Camogie played a part in the Belfast Metropolitan college female sports forum leadership programme on February 3rd last where Clare Dowdall (RDO) tutored on a workshop to upskill coaches in the basic skills of the game of Camogie.
