The Camán & Run relay teams for the AIB All Ireland Club Finals have been announced. 8 teams were selected from the 65 club teams that registered their interest. The 8 clubs will participate in the Camán and Run Relay Race at half time of the AIB Senior club final in Croke Park on March 6th.
 
The 8 clubs are as follows:
Ø  Shinrone, Offaly
Ø  Athleague, Roscommon
Ø  Clonoulty/Rossmore, Tipperary
Ø  Ballinora, Cork
Ø  St.John’s, Antrim
Ø  Oranmore Maree, Galway
Ø  St.Brigids Blackwater, Wexford
Ø  Tournafulla, Limerick
 
The Camán and Run relay race involves 4 players from each of the 8 clubs. On the whistle the first player from each club must solo the sliotar on the hurley for 40 metres out around a slalom pole and solo back 40 metres and hand pass the sliotar to player 2. Player 2, 3 and 4 repeat the process and first team back wins the race.
 
At half time of the AIB intermediate club final, U12 mini games teams from Cahir, Eyrecourt, Milford and Killimor will show their skills on the day.
 
Schedule of events at the AIB All Ireland Club finals on March 6th:
Intermediate final:  Cahir (Tipperary) V Eyrecourt (Galway) (Throw-in: 1.30pm)
Mini Games:             Cahir v Eyrecourt, Milford v Killimor (2pm approx.)
Senior Final:            Killimor (Galway) V Milford (Cork) (Throw-in: 3.15pm)
Camán & Run:         8 clubs (3.50pm approx.)

Camán Get Hooked Dublin
21 coaches attended the Level 1 coaching course Camán Get Hooked held in Naomh Mearnóg GAA club in Dublin. Thanks to Ger Gribben and Noel McSweeney for tutoring on the course over the two weekends in February.

Speed Leagues
The Antrim U16 speed leagues started on Friday February 12th with four more sessions in the leagues. Held in Randalstown indoor 3g pitch, 10 teams took part on week one of the programme. For more information on this programme contact: clare.dowdall@camogie.ie

Camán Get A Grip this weekend
There will be 3 Camán Get a Grip courses this Saturday the 20th February. Danesfort GAA club will host the Kilkenny course with courses in Galway and Gort Na Mona Belfast also. Thanks to tutors preparing for the upcoming courses.
