Connacht under 12 clubs are invited to register their clubs to take part in the Camán to Connacht Event in Pearse Stadium on Saturday 16th May. All clubs that play in the provincial day will be put in the draw to play in Croke Park in July.
 
 
There will be a provincial day in each province this year. The Camán to Thurles event will take place on 25th April in Semple Stadium for Munster clubs. The Ulster and Leinster dates are to be released shortly so watch this space!

Westmeath 1st Whistle Course
20 participants took part in a First Whistle Camogie Referee Course in Cusack Park on 31st March. The course was delivered by Regional Development Officer Lizzie Flynn. On the evening the group were pleasantly with an unexpected visit from Aileen Lawlor, who recently stepped down as Camogie President. Aileen herself was a referee and during her time as President helped launch of the Referee Pathway booklet.

Derry & Wicklow Coaching Workshop
John O Dwyer tutored on this workshop. The Derry Senior Camogie panel provided players for the workshop entitled ‘Games for attacking play’.The players were forced to make a lot of decisions during the workshop with use of uneven number on teams so players had to work harder for the ball thus encouraging the creation of ‘thinking players.’.
The Wicklow workshop entitled ‘Coaching the Tackle’ took place on Wednesday the  25th March in Aughrim Wicklow. Mark McManus Dublin Games Promotion Manager tutored on the workshop. 21 coaches attended from 6 clubs Knockananna, Aughrim, Kilcoole, Carnew, Avondale and Ballinacor.

Ulster Camogie Indoor Blitz
A great day of Camogie for U12 club teams in Ulster took place indoors at a blitz held in Meadowbank, Magherafelt on Sunday 29th March last. Over 280 girls from 19 clubs from Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down and Tyrone took part in the blitz. The blitz was co-ordinated by Camogie RDO Ger Gribben and assisted by Laura Gribben. Well done to all the girls who played with skill and speed through out and a big thanks to all the mentors and parents for their co-operation on the day!

Camán Get a Grip Cavan
Well done to all the coaches who completed the 'Caman Get A Grip' foundation coaching course in Dernakesh NS, Drumgoon, Co Cavan on Saturday 28th March. The course was tutored by Ger Gribben Camogie Regional Development Officer. Thanks to Margaret McCabe for co-ordinating the course and also for providing food on the day.

Mayo Cumann na mBuncol Camogie Exhibition Game
On Easter Sunday next the 5th April at 2pm Mayo play Donegal in the National Football League in McHale Park. There will be approximately ten thousand people at the game.
Cuman na mBunscoil Mayo will be running two cross field exhibition games that day to highlight girls participation in Cuman na mBunscoil (a camogie match and Ladies football match). The camogie match will be 11-a-side played between a Castlebar schools selection and a Westport schools selection. Best of luck to all the girls involved on the day!

A foundation Camogie coaching course takes places in Westmeath on Saturday 18th April. This coaching course is ideal for new coaches or existing coaches who do not have an official qualification. On Tuesday 21st April Damien Young from Tipperary will be coming to Westmeath to complete a workshop of coach of girls from U14 up to senior. The workshop is "A Game Based Approach to Coaching". Ulster GAA Tutor Assimilation
An assimilation of Ulster GAA coaches will take place in St.Catherines Armagh on 2nd April. The tutors will be able to deliver the Camogie Camán Get a Grip course after the days training is complete.
 
Easter Camp
