We are delighted to announce that the Camogie Association’s Club School Links Support Grant is now open for applications – see poster and information sheets below.
This support grant consists of €320 per successful applicant for the delivery of a Club School Link programme within your local primary school(s) . We have a limited amount of these grants on offer for 2024.
What is the Club School Link?
- The CSL initiative is whereby local primary school(s) link with the existing/new camogie club for coaching/events/information evenings etc.
- Its main objective is to create a presence within the local schools and provide additional coaching/interaction with the female players/students in the area.
- It’s highly beneficial in keeping membership within the club on a steady and growing basis and also in creating a strong relationship between school and club for shared benefits.

How to Apply?
In order to apply clubs must identify a suitable school(s) within their catchment area who meet one of the criteria below:
- All Girls Schools
- School within the catchment of a new club set up – new club within previous 3 years.
- DEIS school
If successful, clubs will provide a club coach to commence and complete their coaching programme but must have the following:
- Coaching Foundation Level course completed
- Safeguarding 1 compliant
- Garda Vetted through the Camogie Association
- Member of a camogie club (on Foireann)
- Some school may require school vetting to be filled also
- All coaching MUST be completed by the October Mid-Term break.

Clubs who wish to apply are asked to fill out the above application form for consideration on or before the closing date of Tuesday 13th August 2024
Clubs will be notified on Friday 16th August on the status of their application.
