The nominees for the Camogie Association Inaugural Player Awards for the 2017 Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues were announced today with players from across all three divisions of the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues recognised for their outstanding efforts in 2017.
Managers from all of the teams who participated in this year's competition were asked to choose their top three players from opposing teams from which the nominees were then identified.
In Division 1 Kilkenny trio Anne Dalton, Denise Gaule and Miriam Walsh have all been nominated along with Limerick’s Niamh Mulcahy and Waterford’s Beth Carton.
Nominated in Division 2 are Cork's Sarah Buckley, Karen Kielt of Derry, Down's Niamh Mallon, Siobhán Hurley of Kildare and Sarah Anne Fitzgerald of Laois.
Finally, in Division 3 Dublin’s Caragh Dawson, Patrice Diggin of Kerry and Roscommon’s Shauna Fallon have all been nominated.
The player with the most nominations from each Division will be announced at a ceremony to take place in Croke Park on Friday May 19th.
