We are delighted to announce that the Camogie Associations Club School Links Support Grant is now open for applications – see poster and information sheet attached.
This support grant consists of €320 per successful applicant for the delivery of a Club School Link programme within your local school (primary or secondary). We have a limited amount of these grants on offer for 2022/2023.
What is the Club School Link?
- The CSL initiative is whereby local schools (primary or secondary) link with the existing/new camogie club for coaching/events/information evenings etc.
- Its main objective is to create a presence within the local schools and provide additional coaching/interaction with the female players/students in the area.
- It’s highly beneficial in keeping membership within the club on a steady and growing basis and also in creating a strong relationship between school and club for shared benefits.

How to Apply?
In order to apply clubs must identify a suitable school(s) within their catchment area who meet one of the criteria below:
- All Girls Schools
- School within the catchment of a new club set up – new club within previous 3 years.
- DEIS school
If successful, clubs will provide a club coach to commence and complete their coaching programme but must have the following items in place:
- Coaching Foundation Level course completed
- Safeguarding 1 compliant
- Garda Vetted through the Camogie Association
- Some school may require school vetting to be filled also
