Another busy weekend of club camogie action is in the books, as knockout stages in various counties take shape.
Cork saw the quarter-finals take place on Saturday. 2025 AIB All-Ireland finalists, St Finbarr’s, took another step closer to retaining their title on Lee-side with victory over Bellincollig. Last year’s beaten finalists St Catherine’s fell to Courcey Rovers, with Linda Collins top-scoring with 4-5 for the victors.
Courcey Rovers will face Blackrock in the last four, with the Barrs taking on Sarsfields.
In Galway, big guns Athenry and Sarsfields picked up wins over Clarinbridge and Oranmore Matree respectively. Meanwhile, Mullagh overcame Davitts, while Shamrocks and Ardrahan drew.
Carndonagh claimed the county title in Donegal, needing extra-time to see off Burt, 3-8 to 1-10.
In Antrim, reigning Ulster champions Loughgiel Shamrocks edged Ruairí Óg Cushendall, 0-14 to 0-11 in a tight encounter.
Cashel King Cormacs scored a late winner to pip reigning champs Thurles Sarsfields in the FBD Insurance Tipperary Senior Championship, 1-14 to 1-13. The group stages concluded, with the knockout stages line-up now confirmed. Despite defeat, Thurles Sarsfields top the group, and progress to the last four along with Clonoulty Rossmore, who also earned a bye. Moycarkey Borris will face Drom-Inch in the quarter-finals, while Cashel King Cormacs will be up against Éire Óg Annacarty.
The semi-finals are set in Waterford, with De La Salle to face St Anne’s, while Gaultir will take on Cappoquin.
In Clare, Kilmaley, Inagh-Kilnamona, Truagh Clonlara and Scariff-Ogonnelloe have all made it through to the semi-finals.
Lavey delivered a 4-11 to 1-14 win over Slaughtneil to set up a semi-final meeting with Swatragh in the Errigal Group Derry Senior Championship. Ballinscreen’s 1-12 to 0-13 victory over Glen has earned them a last-four date with Bellaghy.
In Down, there were wins for Clonduff and Portaferry over Liatroim and Ballycran respectively.
Friday saw eight become four after the quarter-finals of the Clearwater Construction Wexford Senior Championship. Glynn Barntown defeated Bunclody, St Martin’s saw off Cloughbawn, Oulart the Ballagh beat Kilrush, while Oylegate Glenbrien had too much for St Ibar’s Shelmaliers.
Meanwhile, Clonkill are into the Westmeath decider, after sealing top spot in the group. Raharmey and Lough Lene Gaels will face off for the right to join them in the final.
