Development in Connacht
A teacher in-service day took place in Tuam on Thursday July 4th. Primary school teachers from Galway and Mayo took part in the 3 day event. The theory element was presented by Damien Curley (Connacht tutor) practical element was presented by Gerry Spellman (Galway GAA) and John Mullins (Connacht Camogie).
The Connacht U17 day will take place on Saturday July 14th in Oran, Roscommon. Girls who are not on their county U16 or U18 teams are invited to come along. A Connacht inter provincial team will be selected and will play the other interpro teams in September. Please contact Gerry Dolan (Connacht Development Officer) fro further details.
The annual Connacht U16 7 a side blitz will take place on Sunday August 5th in the Connacht Center of Excellence. Teams are asked to register their teams asap to avoid disappointment. Contact your club secretary for further details on this event.
