A number of Camogie clubs and projects have benefitted from the recent Sports Capital Programme funding as announced by Minster Michael Ring on Thursday, October 8th.

Over €200,000 has been allocated to a series of local and non-local projects with Clare Camogie Board receiving €180,792 for the development of the Fr.McNamara Camogie field.

Other beneficiaries include Courcey Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie Club (€600), Inniscarra Camogie Club (€11,000), Mallow Camogie Club (€3,500), Tuam Camogie Club  (€6,000), Portroe Camogie Club (€2,500) and Kilcoole Camogie Club (€1,598).

This is the third round of the Sports Capital Funding allocation of which €41 million was distributed to 891 projects nationwide.
