Cavan and Tyrone Set to Battle it out for Nancy Murray Cup Title

Thu 12th Nov 2020

Cian Nelson

County

Cavan and Tyrone will battle it out this Saturday evening for the Nancy Murray Cup title in Inniskeen with places in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Premier Junior Championship Semi-Finals also to be determined.

The sides reached this stage after coming through a group stage in recent weeks where they both defeated Louth as well as facing each other. On that occasion Cavan took the spoils, but with an extra game under each side’s belt since this should be a whole new prospect for both sides.

The winner of this tie will face Roscommon next weekend, and the runner-up will take on Armagh in the Premier Junior Championship Semi-Finals.

The match will be broadcast live on the Camogie Association Facebook Page from 5.45pm with Extra-Time and Frees Competition to be played if required to determine a winner on the day.
