IT Carlow had a narrow win over IT Tralee in this Division 2 south camogie league tie played in Ahane Co Limerick on Thursday 16th Oct. Both teams played great attacking camogie in the opening half with some great scores. At half time the sides were level IT Carlow 1-9 IT Tralee 2-6. Both defences tightened up in the second half with scores more difficult to get. IT Tralee had a two point lead as time was almost up. Linda Sullivan for IT Carlow gained possession and went on a run straight towards the Tralee goal her shot was blocked but IT Carlow substitute Maura Murphy was on hand to drive the ball into the Tralee net. The Kerry college had one last chance to launch an attack but this ended with the ball going wide.
