Clare Camogie Board have appointed Colm Honan as Senior Manager. Colm, formerly a PE teacher at St. Patrick's Comprehensive, Shannon, was heavily involved in the development of numerous successful camogie and hurling teams. He coached the Clare Minor Hurling team to All Ireland glory in 1997 and subsequently managed Clare at Under 21 level.
In club hurling, Colm has been active at all levels in his home club of Clonlara. He also coached Truagh Camogie to County and Provincial titles. Colm's backroom team will include Patricia O'Grady, Declan Noone and Peter Casey, maintaining a link with last year's management, while Dave Barry of Clooney will also join the back-room team.
