A green card coaching academy took place in Clarecastle, Ennis, Co Clare last Wednesday Thursday and Friday.
The academy was set up with Clare hosting Feile 2010 in mind.  The aim of the Academy was to provide Clare with a team of fully qualified Referees for underage games. With all clubs in Clare being represented and 40 participants in total undertaking the courseàthe future of refereeing in Clare surely looks like a bright one.

A special mention and thank you must be extended to:

Una Kearney from Armagh one of Camogies finest inter county referees who delivered the course and Brian O Connell , Clare Hurling captain who dropped by on Friday to share his experience and thoughts on the hard work of Referees in todays game!

The Camogie association would also like to thank Orla Considine, Clare County Board, Sean Chaplain, Brian O Connell, Una Kearney and all who participated in the academy for helping to make the academy such a huge success.
