Clare PK Coaches Senior Camogie Final
Kilmaley v Sixmilebridge, Sunday @ 3:45 in Clarecastle: Ref Kevin Walsh(Wolfe Tones)
This looks to be a very appetising game as Kilmaley bid to retain the one and only Senior Championship Title they won last year and Sixmilebridge look to bridge a 19 year gap to their last victory.
The landscape has changed hugely since the æBridge were last in a county final as they have never contested a 15 a-side Senior Final. Kilmaley have adapted to game and are a formidable side. They have fine players in the McMahon sisters Claire and Helen, they also have county players Denise Lynch, Sh¾nagh Enright, Katie Cahill, Sarah Reidy, Eimear Considine along with the experienced Siobhan White and Aida Griffey and Captain Emma O’Driscoll.

The youth is bringing more drive and wish for success to the reigning Champions and after overcoming arch rivals Newmarket in the semi-final this isn’t one they will let get away too easily.
Sixmilebridge are a young side brimming with enthusiasm and desire. The character of Chloe Morey is typical of the mindset of the æBridge and her recent Gala Performance award will be their building stone. Along with 16 year old Chloe are the young players of Niamh Corry, Aiveen O’Shea, Ciara Whelan, Sinead Tuohy and then Bridget O’Halloran, Niamh McInerney and captain Noeleen Neylon, who was on the team at the last win, have vast experience and they will be glad of the underdog tag. It has allowed them to take on all opposition this year.
But Kilmaley will be cautious and should have enough as this is just possibly a year too early for the Sixmilebridge side.

Glenomra Senior B Final
Broadford v Clooney Sunday @ 2pm in Clarecastle: Ref Andrew Managhan(Tubber)
Another mouth watering game expected here. There should be very little between the teams. Broadford have been working hard since making their way to the Senior stage for the last five years but have not been able to fully bridge that gap. Same can be said for Clooney who are Senior this year for the second year.
Both have grasped the chance at this title with both hands. This is the first year of its running and it has hugely helped those who are working hard to reach the heights of the Senior grade. This gives more games and with Championship flavour to them has kept these teams playing throughout the Summer.
Clooney will be hoping that Aisling Hannon, the Colleran sisters Imelda(Capt), Amy and Christine will help in holding the defense while Orlaith Duggan, Deirdre Murphy, Mary Clune and Claire Ryan will lead up the attack. They are a balanced outfit and will hope to move their ambitions on one more step.
Broadford will look to Danielle Sheedy, Jennifer and Stephanie Moloney, Siobhan Kinniry, Deirdre Boland and Maureen Casey to lead the way. Again a balanced side where a win will be of great benefit to the Club. They will also not wish to see it go to Clooney having donated the Shield and having their name first to be inscribed on it will only drive them on.

An exciting days’ camogie is in store for all who attend. There will also be a visit on the day from the U16 Munster Camogie Champions, U21 All-Ireland and Munster Champions and the Intermediate All-Ireland Ladies Football Champions.
