There is another packed weekend of club Camogie in store, as the AIB Championships continue apace.
The AIB Munster Senior Championship final takes centre stage on Saturday afternoon, with De La Salle of Waterford facing Cork’s St Finbarr’s at 1pm in FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles. The pair overcame Thurles Sarsfields and Newcastle West respectively in two enthralling semi-finals.
They will now face off on Saturday afternoon, with both clubs seeking a first ever provincial senior crown. Loughgiel Shamrocks of Antrim lie in wait for the winner in the All-Ireland semi-final.
Meanwhile, the AIB All-Ireland series also gets underway this weekend, with the All-Ireland Junior preliminary round between Brídíní Óga (Antrim) and Fullen Gaels (Great Britain) facing off at 1pm Saturday at Whitehall Colmcille, Dublin. The winner will progress to the semi-finals.
Elsewhere, Moycarkey Borris will face Ballincollig at 1pm Saturday in the Munster Intermediate showpiece.
The Munster Junior A final between Clooney Quin and Patrickswell is at 1pm Sunday in Cusack Park, Ennis.
The Ulster Championship intermediate final replay between Crossmaglen and Eglish is at 1pm Saturday in Dungannon.
