Camogie club finals confirmed for Croke Park

The All Ireland Club Camogie Finals have been confirmed for Croke Park, for the second year in a row, with a double header fixture taking place on Sunday March 4th.

The Intermediate and Senior finals will both take place at GAA HQ. The pairings have yet to be decided as defending club champions Killimor face Tipperary side Drom/Inch and Wexford’s Oulart the Ballagh play Loughgiel in the senior semi-finals.

Waterford side Lismore face Ardrahan in the Intermediate semi-final while title holders Eoghan Rua take on the Harps, in a repeat of last year’s final. All games take place on Sunday February 5th.

The All Ireland Club Finals returned to GAA HQ in 2010 after a break of almost forty years.  The last All Ireland Senior Camogie Club Final to take place in Croke Park was in 1973 with Dublin side Austin Stacks picking up their second consecutive title. The senior finals were played in various venues nationwide in the intervening years.

The club finals will be preceded by the Biddy Phillips Camogie Legends Tournament on Saturday afternoon, March 3rd with further details to be announced closer to the date.
