Following on from the Camogie Association Congress in Armagh City Hotel, Armagh on Friday and Saturday, March 28th & 29th, below is the full transcript of the speech by President of the Camogie Association Aileen Lawlor to delegates. In a wide-ranging address, she highlighted the importance of all members of the Association supporting the game of camogie, increasing attendances at games and also the One Association Model.
President of the GAA Liam O'Neill also addressed delegates and specifically mentioned the momentous move forward by the Association to unanimously endorse a move to begin negotiations with the GAA and LGFA on the One Association model.
