Camán to Connacht Closing Date!!
 
Camán to Connacht will take place on SATURDAY JUNE 1ST in Pearse Stadium, Galway and is open for registrations from u12 club camogie teams across Connacht.
 
Applications will be open until Tuesday 21st May. Entries received after this date will not be considered and clubs will not be considered for the Camán to Croker event.

Development blitz
 
Connacht schools held a 7 a side blitz in Ballymacward on Monday May 13th. Schools from Galway and Roscommon took part on a glorious day. Games were very competitive throughout with some great skill and commitment on show.
 
Thanks to Presentation Athenry, Killians New Inn, Clarin college Athenry, Mercy Roscommon (2 teams) and Holy Rosary College Mountbellew for taking part. Congratulation to Clarin College who overcame Presentation Athenry in a very competitive final.
 
 
Thanks to all the teachers and to Ballymacward for hosting the event. Special thanks to Donal Burke Connacht School serving officer for organising and to John Mullins (Connacht Camogie) and Brian Griffen (Galway Development Officer) for coordinating the event. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Referee courses:
 
Congratulation and well done to everyone involved in the referee course ran in Roscommon over the weekend. Thanks to the Roscommon development officer Geraldine Beattie for organising the event.
 
Galway will run a first whistler/foundation referee course in the very near future. Please contact referee coordinator John McDonagh for further details.
