Cork's Julia White is anticipating a tough encounter in this weekend's Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1 Final clash with their rivals Kilkenny.
Speaking at the launch of the final White said "It's early days but it will be good to show us where we're at and where they're at. We'll always raise our games for each other when playing Kilkenny and the same for them."
Cork come into the Final with a 100% record so far including an impressive Semi-Final win over Limerick and White expects this platform to help them ahead of Sunday's encounter "We've just got to keep on doing what we've been doing all along."
The two sides met in the group stage where Cork prevailed on the day by just a single point and White is expecting another tough test from the Cats this Sunday "It will give us a good bit of motivation to overcome them and I'm sure it will be the same for them. They wouldn't want to be relinquishing their record against us."
The two sides are very familiar with one another having also met in September's All-Ireland Final where the Cats claimed a historic win to lift the O'Duffy Cup for the first time in 22 years.
"We've already played them in the League and it was nice to get the win but I think they will be a totally different outfit come the League Final so definitely we'll be looking at it as a good challenge and a good marker for the season to come"
Sunday's Final takes place in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick as part of a double-header with the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Final between Galway and Tipperary.
