Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael Minor Blitz

This weekend sees the inaugural Minor Championship Blitz taking place in Aughrim, Co. Wicklow from 10 am on Saturday morning 5th July.  The participating teams are Wicklow, Kildare and Carlow.

Speaking ahead of the blitz President of the Camogie Association Liz Howard said “”Every team in this blitz has the potential to win. Being the best you can be is important. That is much more rewarding than competing in a grade where you get beaten by a very strong county. The Blitz competition in the Gala All Ireland Junior Championship has been most successful for the past two years. It gives players the opportunity to compete and meet players from other counties. I know that this Minor Championship Blitz will be just as successful.””
