Dublin Camogie Board

 

Well done to Dublin Camogie star Ciara Durkan who took part in the special sprint relay in Croke Park as part of the GAA 125 Celebrations on Sunday last.

 

The championship season is now well under way and many thanks to all who helped make it an exciting start last week.

 

Big games down for decision this week include the senior clash of Na Fianna and St Vincents both of whom suffered first round losses; the Good Counsel v Naomh Jude tie promises to be a thriller.  In Senior B, Ballinteer St Johns take on Portobello in a must win for Johns while the meeting of St Vincents and St Oliver Plunketts brings together the Div 2 league winners (Vincents) with the Division 1 leaders (Plunketts).

 

In the Intermediate quarter-finals Kilmacud Crokes will be hoping to build on their win over Ballyboden St Endas while the meeting between Erins Isle and Good Counsel should be a close one.

 

In Junior the all Junior A clash of Naomh BrÝd and Clanna Gael looks like the tie of the quarter finals.

 

Prices for this years All-Ireland Camogie Finals on 13th September

2009 – Adult: €30

Juveniles: €5.  Group Passes: €5 per child and if you bring 10 Juveniles you get one adult free.  Details of application process have been sent to Camogie Secretaries in all clubs.
