The Camogie Association have announced a once-off national fund of €100,000 to support Camogie clubs to purchase gear/equipment.
To be eligible for funding, each club is required to complete an online survey by Friday 10th April. The weblink to the survey will be forwarded to each club by their county secretary.
In announcing the fund, Uachtarán an Cumann Camógaíochta, Aileen Lawlor, said “This fund is in recognition of the support and co-operation of clubs in implementing the Association’s new affiliation fees' system in 2014. Each club is asked to complete the survey and demonstrate that it has accredited coaches working with its underage teams. Each club will then benefit from a €200 voucher towards the purchase of Camogie gear/equipment from the Association’s licensed suppliers. I am delighted that the Association can re-invest this money into supporting the game at grassroots level and I look forward to hearing from clubs, through the survey, about their views on future development of Camogie ”.
