Féile na nGael 2017 is Here!
 
The National Féile na nGael competition in association with John West takes place in Carlow, Wexford and Kilkenny this weekend from Friday June 16th – Sunday June 18th. This year there is 112 Camogie teams taking part in National Feile (56 hosts, 56 travelling teams). With 7 Divisions, this will be the largest Camogie Feile since the competition started.

Regional Feile 2017
 
In addition to the National Competition 4 Regional Féile Blitzes will take place on Saturday June 17th with 27 teams taking part. In total 3,336 under 14 girls will play Camogie this weekend as part of Féile na nGael. Best of luck to all players involved.

Feile Skills Competition 2017
 
The Féile Skills Competition took place on Saturday June 10th in the GAA Games Development Centre in Abbotstown. There were 26 counties represented from Camogie on the day (pictured above).

Hurl Smart Week Concludes
 
Well done to all 66 clubs across the country who took part in ‘Hurl Smart Week 2017’.  All reports of events are being collated and a draw will be done for 10 lucky clubs to win an Inter County Player visit. See below a sample of different ideas clubs had during the week.

Well done to all the schools who took part in the Cumann na mBunscol finals in Mayo.  The competition was 9 a side and the winners on the day, Tooreen National School were in flying form.

Toronto Camogie Thriving
 
Toronto Camogie in Canada are a club thriving at the minute. Having attended the World GAA Games last year in Dublin it set them up well this year with large numbers attending their first training session last month.  They are preparing for the North American Championships to be held in San Francisco in September.
 
 
Hurl with Me Continues
 
The National Hurl with me Programme in Conjunction with the National Dairy Council continues in 24 clubs across the country.  Preparations are under way for the national day which they will all attend on Sunday June 26th at the GAA Games Development Centre, Abbotstown.
