Douglas of Cork claimed a thrilling 1-7 to 2-2 win over St Vincent’s, Dublin in the Division One camogie final of Feile na nGael yesterday. This is the second time the Dublin team suffered heartbreak at the hands of the Cork side, having shipped defeat again in 2005 when the Munster representatives completed three-in-a-row titles in ’04, ’05 and ’06.

In the Division Two decider St Brenda’s Armagh were victorious over O’Moore’s of Laois (2-4 to 2-2), while it was a memorable day for Kerry who beat Kiltale from County Meath in the Division Three final after an exciting 0-4 to 0-3 triumph. It was an equally remarkable day for Mayo side Na Brideoga who claimed a Division Four win over Seir Kieran of Offaly, 5-3 to 0-1.
