
The Camogie Association is recruiting for a Finance Executive to join their dynamic team. This role will support the delivery of key elements of the Finance function in the Camogie Association, including administration of the Player Charter, report production, and providing broad administrative support.
The Camogie Association is the National Governing Body for the sport of Camogie, responsible for promoting and developing the game. Camogie is one of UNESCO’s listed protected cultural activities around the world.
Camogie operates at club, county, provincial and international levels with teams of all ages participating in our sport in recreational and competitive activities. We work closely with colleagues in The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), and LGFA (Ladies Gaelic Football Association) at all levels of sport, administration and governance.

The Finance Executive will report to the Finance Manager. Key responsibilities of the Finance Executive include:
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the Finance Manager with budgeting, financial analysis and reporting
- Administration of financial aspects of the player charter
- Preparation of reports on various key data to support evidence-based decision making
- Assist in the administration, organisation and operation of Ard Chomhairle and sub-committee meetings.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Support in the production of annual report and national publications
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background and experience in finance and administration
- A relevant qualification in finance, administration, or other relevant area
- At least 3 years’ professional experience of working in a finance administration role in sport, service industry or other relevant area.
- An interest in Camogie and sport in general and a knowledge of the structures and operations of the Camogie Association and Gaelic games.
- Excellent communication and IT skills – verbal, written, reporting and presentations, with experience using multiple IT platforms.
- Be a dynamic self-starter with a proven ability to work independently as well as a positive and constructive team member
- Excellent interpersonal skills
This role is based in the Camogie Association Offices, in Dublin and is a full-time role. The successful candidate will be subject to Garda/PSNI vetting clearance.
It is desirable that the successful candidate will have a full clean driving license and access to a car.
