The #GAAyouth Forum will be held on Saturday 24th October in Croke Park (10.30 – 16.30). The Forum is open to male and female club players in two age groups: 12 – 16 and 17 – 21.
The theme for the 2015 #GAAyouth Forum is ‘Your Voice, Your Lifestyle, Your GAA’ and the focus of the day will be on:
·        Healthy Lifestyle – the do’s and don’ts
·        Practical tips to improve your Game – debunking the myths
 
Delegates attending the Forum will be provided with an opportunity to:
Ø  Keep a 5 day ‘Lifestyle Diary’
Ø  Learn how to improve their lifestyle through proper Diet & Nutrition
Ø  Practical tips to improve their game in the Croke Park Warm-Up Rooms
Ø  Discuss how young people can influence changes in relation to Player Welfare in the GAA
 
200 delegate places are up for grabs for male and female players in two age groups: 12 -16 and 17 – 21.
 
The online application forms will be available on www.gaa.ie/youth-zone on Friday 7th August and will close on Friday 2nd October and successful applicants will be informed by Friday 9th October.

Connacht Under 16 Blitz
The Connacht 7s Blitz for under 16’s took place in the Connacht Centre of Excellence Bekan on Sunday 26th of July. 19 teams took part over 3 divisions.

Armagh Camogie Camps
Armagh Camogie ran a mid Armagh Summer camp in Sherry's Field, Armagh. The camp was organised by Micheal Murphy (Armagh Camogie Dev Officer) with over 50 girls attending from the local Camogie Clubs. Coaches at the camp included Ciara Hayes, Shelly Mc Ardle, Éadaoin Murphy and Conor Devlin. Jennifer Curry (Cork Camogie Star) attended also to pass on her expert knowledge to the girls attending. Well done to everyone involved!
 
Mid Armagh Camp
 
The South Armagh Camp took place in Crossmaglen with 40 girls aged 11-14 attended from the south clubs (Crossmaglen, Culloville, Killeavy, Mullaghbawn, Cullyhanna and Camlough). Micheal Murphy the new Armagh CDO co-ordinated it and Ciara Hayes and Conor Devlin (all Armagh players) coached at the camp.

Dublin Summer Camps
A Rising stars camp for 8-12yrs olds took place in Erins Isle GAA Club from the
22-24th July. There were 90 girls on the camp!

A Player Performance/Lifestyle Camp took place in St Brigids GAA Club from the 27th-29th July
with 60 girls taking part. This camp included a talk from a nutritionist, running coach and was visited by Dublin stars Dotsy O Callaghan & Ali Twomey.

Wicklow Summer Camp
A Player Performance Camp took place in Donard camogie Club on the 15th & 16th of July. There were 20 girls on the camp which included skills coaching, running workshop, nutrition talk & Athletic Development module.

Ballygarret Realt Na Mara Jersey Launch
On Friday the 16th of July one of the newly established clubs in Wexford held a fantastic fun night for their members which included the launch of their new Camogie Jerseys!
Leinster GAA provided the use of the road show for fun activities for both kids and adults. Over the last couple of years Ballygarret Realt Na Mara club have been working extremely hard to develop their club.

Down Camogie Camp
Kilcoo Camogie club ran a very successful Camogie Camp for their U12 and younger members in July with 35 girls taking part. Well done to all in the Kilcoo Camogie club for organising a great week of Camogie for their U12 Camogie Players.
