A weekend of reckoning for six teams across three Camogie National League Divisions
 
The Finals of the upcoming Irish Daily Star National Leagues were launched today in Croke Park Stadium.
 
The Division 1 Final sees reigning champions Galway face a Kilkenny side who needed extra-time to overcome Tipperary in a thrilling Semi-Final.
 
The Division 2 Final sees Galway looking to win the title for the first time since 2003 against a Meath side who will be looking for their first League title at this level.
 
In the Division 3 Final, Armagh and Roscommon will both be seeking to pick up their first title at this level.
 
Present at the launch were Uachtarán an Cumann Camógaíochta Catherine Neary, Sports Editor of the Irish Daily Star Brian Flanagan, as well as the six captains from the competing counties; Division 1 – Galway’s Niamh Kilkenny & Julianne Malone of Kilkenny, Division 2 – Galway’s Moira Connaughton & Meath’s Aoife Maguire, Division 3 – Armagh’s Gráinne Kelly & Roscommon’s Siobhán Coyle.
 
The Division 2 Finals will take place on Saturday April 30th, with the Division 1 Final taking place on Sunday May 1st as part of a double header with the National Hurling League Division 1 Final in Semple Stadium, Thurles. The Division 1 Final will also be broadcast live on TG4 from 1.30pm.
 
This is the sixth year of the sponsorship of the National Camogie Leagues, by the Irish Daily Star, one of Ireland’s most popular daily newspapers.
 
Speaking about the upcoming Irish Daily Star National League finals, President of the Camogie Association Catherine Neary said:

Sunday May 1st
Irish Daily Star National League Division 1 Final
– Galway V Kilkenny, Semple Stadium, Thurles, 1.30pm Live on TG4 (Double Header with NHL Division 1 Final)
