Weekend 2 of the Level 2 Coaching Course ‘Solo to Success’ takes place this weekend in Ardclough in Kildare. The 17 coaches on the course will be attending the course on Saturday and Sunday.
 
Martin Fogarty (pictured above) appointed National Hurling Development manager earlier this year by the GAA will be guest speaker on Sunday November 13th. Martin was a selector with Kilkenny hurlers from 2005-2013 when the Cats won six All-Ireland titles. Coaches will have the chance to have a coaching related questions and answers session with Martin on the day.
 
Tutors Damien Young, Ger Gribben and Patrick Mullaney will be delivering modules over the weekend with guest tutor Paudie Butler to deliver the ‘Wall Ball’ Module on Saturday November 12th.

Female Coach Development Programme Success in Waterford

Congratulations to the 21 coaches who completed the Waterford Sports Partnership/Camogie Association Female Coach Development programme for novice coaches. This programme involved three practical sessions delivered by Peter Jones and Jason Ryan with the aim of increasing coaches’ confidence and giving them the necessary skills to coach within their club.

100+ girls attend Dublin Halloween Camp
110 girls representing 16 clubs in Dublin attended the Dublin Camogie Halloween Camp. The Dublin Senior Camogie team members with Camogie Manager David Herity coached at the camp.

Feile 2017- Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford
Feile na nGael 2017 in association with John West will take place in Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford in 2017. Dates of event for 2017 is: June 16th-18th.
Camogie clubs in Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford that wish to participate and host a team in June are asked to complete an application form and return to Leinster GAA by this Friday November 11th.
