The Camogie Association is a leading female sporting body in Ireland. Its primary objective is to promote, develop and manage camogie in Ireland and internationally. The priorities of the Association are set out in its National Development Plan (2020-2023) and cover all aspects of the sport including games development, player welfare, enhancing the profile of the game, commercial development, and volunteer enhancement. The Association enjoys a collaborative relationship with the GAA.
The Association is now seeking to appoint an Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations and logistics across all aspects of the Association, with responsibility for managing camogie fixtures up to and including all Ireland finals at all grades and events, for the Association.
The Operations Manager will play a vital role in implementing the Camogie Association’s National Development Plan for 2020-2023 as part of the senior management team.
Leading and managing the multi-disciplinary operations team the Operations Manager will be a dynamic and energetic individual with excellent planning and management skills. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders including team colleagues, volunteers at club, county, provincial, national and international levels, corporate and sponsorships partners and other sporting bodies. The postholder will report directly to the Ard Stiurthoir.
Working hours: Full Time, 39 Hour Working week, working days may differ week to week depending on business needs. This role requires flexibility and will entail out-of-hours working.
