Laois Camogie Board are gearing up for an action packed schedule of camogie on Saturday April 28th as they host a Puc around Laois in all clubs from 11.00 am to 1.00pm.
In conjunction with South Leinster Regional Development Officer, Jenny Duffy, eight clubs are holding an activity morning for girls up to the age of 12 who wish to try out the game of camogie.
Camogie blitzes, skills exhibitions, go games, coaching and fun drills are some of the items on offer to budding camogie players. The events are also open to family and friends to attend.
Each club is running a full range of activities with St Brigids camogie club, getting into the Olympic spirit with their novel Camogie Goes Olympics themed day.
Naomh Eamonn, Clonad, St Brigids, O’Moores, Camross , Portlaoise , St Fintans and The Harps complete the full list of clubs participating in Puc Around Laois.
