LEINSTER COLLEGES CAMOGIE MID-TERM REPORT (NOVEMBER 2010)

Half way through the term in Leinster Colleges and competitions are all well underway.  in Senior A, wins for Loreto Secondary School Kilkenny and St Brigids College Callan have put them out in front with a few remaining games still left before the final.  In Senior B, not as good as Senior A for the playing of games with no real forerunner yet.  Schools need to increase the effort to get games played soon.  Senior C faring a bit better with all schools having played, wins for Heywood Community School, Dunshaughlin Community School, Gorey Community School and Colaiste Mhuire Johnstown show early form.  Who will prevail though? We shall see.  In Senior D , St Marys College Nass are through to the Semi final after winning their group.  The othe two groups are still playing.

With regard to the Junior Competitions,  Junior A has not really got going yet and schools need to increase their effort to play the remainder of games.  In Junior B the semi-finals will involve the following teams Saint Marys, New Ross, Birr Community School, Loreto Wexford and Bunclody/Grennan College Thomastown.  Junior C has most of its games played but with a tight contested grade no school has come to the fore yet.  Junior D has seen the withdrawl of certain schools which has not helped, new schools have shown promise again in a very contested grade.
