Coaching Opportunities
On Sunday 10th March, Craanford Monaseed was the venue for a full foundation coaching course with 25 coaches qualifying following the day. Many thanks to the club for being the host venue and the local tutors for their delivery. The Level 1 for Carlow/Wicklow also concluded last weekend and we look forward to those becoming involved with a higher level of coaching in both counties.

Camogie4Teens starts again in Wexford
Following on from the Camogie4Teens programme of 2017, Wexford camogie have decided to run the initiative internally within their county over the coming March and April. The aim of this unique program is to provide targeted workshops/course's for club teenagers. It should be seen as a great opportunity for clubs to retain players, recruit coaches for nurseries and get involved in the future of the club in other activities such as administration or refereeing in order to increase lifelong involvement. The Camogie 4 Teens program provides the opportunity for girls to get an experience of how Camogie operates outside of just playing. The programme has been outlined as below for 16-18year old players to register their interest for in Wexford
March 26th; First Whistle Course
April 2nd; Player Lifestyle workshop
April 6th; Foundation Course – Saturday – a Full day
April 16th; Event Management workshop
April 28th; Blitz Day – Saturday 10.00am – 1.00pm
