The Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship enters its knockout stages this weekend when Semple Stadium in Thurles will play host to a Quarter-Finals double-header on Saturday August 5th.
The first Quarter-Final sees Dublin take on Wexford before Galway and Tipperary clash in the evening’s second fixture as all four sides battle it out for coveted Semi-Final places.
Wexford finished second to Cork in Group 2 having suffered only one defeat in the group stage. They will face a Dublin side who have impressed this year with two victories under their belt in reaching the Quarter-Finals.
Tipperary finished third in Group 1 after a dramatic victory in their final group game which saw them rise up the table to secure a Quarter-Final berth. They will face a Galway side whose only defeat so far in the campaign came at the hands of the reigning All-Ireland champions Kilkenny.
Both fixtures will be broadcast live on RTÉ Two as well as broadcast live on the RTÉ Player worldwide and the winners of these ties will progress to the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals on Saturday August 19th where they will face either Cork or Kilkenny who advanced directly to the Semi-Finals having topped their respective groups.
The Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championship Finals take place on Sunday September 10th in Croke Park, Dublin.
