Profiles of dual senior players/managers
Manager: Phelim Macken
Phelim is Sports Coordinator with County Limerick Sports Partnership, he has won County u16 and Junior medal as a player .This is Phelim’s first full season with Limerick Camogie, prior to that he had trained Ahane senior Hurlers for seven years and won two county titles in the process.
Jimmy Moynihan
Chairman of Limerick County Camogie board and the third member of our management team. Jimmy has won four county senior medals with South Liberties as player. A pacy corner forward he brings years of experience to the team. Jimmy has been a coach and selector with various county underage and senior teams in football and Camogie and was the manager of limerick Camogie minors who won MMunster final in 2007.
Judith Mulcahy
The younger sister of Claire and Niamh, Judith is a student in
Niamh Power
Niamh has played most of her camogie at underage level to date, and has represented her county at u14, u16 and minor. Manager Phelim has seen her potential and brought her on to the senior panel for her natural defending ability. A top quality full back all season for the minors, Niamh played with great determination and guile in the final to with stand a determined Deise side.
Kerrie Brosnan
One of the youngest on the panel at 16, Kerrie plays regularly for her club Ballyagran helping them to the senior league title in 2009. A regular at number 12 on the minor team Kerrie has gathered great experience from being part of the senior setup can only make her a better player going forward.
Aisling Enright
Another one of the younger players, Aisling plays her camogie at under age and intermediate with Bruff camogie club. Aisling plays for the county football team at underage level as well. A marvellous display in the All-Ireland final, only for Naomi scoring 3-05, Aisling would have been undoubtedly player of the match.
Tara Hurley
The only representative from the up and coming Feenagh –Kilmeedy team, this is Tara’s first year playing camogie and she has turned her hand to the game without much effort. A regular player for Drom/Broadford footballers, Tara also plays soccer in
Naomi Carroll
A hockey international at u18 level for Ireland Naomi is a classy forward and regular match winner for club and county. Naomi has numerous underage medals for club and county and at the tender age of 16 is very important to the future of development of
Katie Campbell
Another international hockey player, Katie was a member of the double winning team of 2007 and plays a crucial role for
Rachel Carmody
The only representative from Newcastle West camogie club, Rachel has represented her county in both football and camogie at all under age levels and is a dynamic score getter in both.
Sarah Carey
Daughter of the Famous Ciarßn, Sarah is a prolific hurler in her own right. Sarah has all the determination and grit that her father showed, and will wear the green jersey of

For all underage competitions the AWAY TEAM has to supply referee in group stages. Referees MUST have a referees course done , if away team cannot the home team can supply referee , if they cannot
the away team has to organise and pay for neutral referee . failure to do this may result in away team losing the points , fixtures committee decision is final .
