Primary school girls from all over Longford County took part in a recently held indoor camogie blitz. The blitz took place in the Community hall in Edgeworthstown. Over 170 girls participated in total representing schools including Mullinalaghta N.S, Scoil Mhuire Newtownforbes, St. Teresa’s Ns Killoe, St. Matthew’s NS Ballymahon, Scoil Mhuire Clondra, Abbeylara N.S., Stonepark N.S. and St. Mary’s Edgeworthstown. 

A huge thanks to all the schools who took part on the day. A special thanks to the Principal and staff at St. Mary’s N.S. Edgeworthstown for facilitating the running the event. Finally, thanks to Pauline Gray, Niall Ward and special guest Mary O’Connor for their assistance in running the event on the day.

 

Another camogie developmental camogie blitz for Primary school girls takes place in Longford on Tuesday, 15th  November next.
