Trim 3-9 Killyon 0-6

Trim continue on their winning ways as the take another scalp in their bid to capture a senior championship title. Trim had some impressive performances on the day from goalie Ann Cole, Anne Marie Fagan at centre field and with forwards Dearbhla O’Carroll & Linda Telford in great form in the opening rounds of the Senior Championship, this has certainly helped Trim to the top spot on the Championship Table. Although this may have been a sweet victory for Trim over their near neighbours Killyon. Trim will have to improve on their second half performances if they are to win a Senior Title. Killyon’s scoring was very low and with a number of chances going a miss they too have to look at increasing their ability to take their scoring chances when they come there way. With a number of younger players on board Killyon did impress at stages with Katie Mullen, Aoife Maguire, Stacey Duignan, doing well in defence was Sylvia Rattigan and Nessa Connolly. This was a good tough game were Trim availed of there chances by putting over there scores, Killyon threatened the Trim defence but were unable to get any chances passed Trim goalie Ann Cole.
