Galway’s young stars began a great day for the county, capturing the Minor A All Ireland title by defeating
Clare on a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-08 at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Sunday August 22nd.
The replay encounter was a similar affair to the first meeting of these two sides with end to end action; great scores and fine individual displays
Galway’s Laura Mitchell was chosen as the Player of the Match for her impressive display at midfield.
