Munster Intermediate Camogie Club Final

Lismore (Waterford) 5.16 v 2.11 Clonoulty(Tipperary)

Lismore put back to back Munster titles together in Bansha, Tipperary on Saturday. The DÚise girls were much too strong for the Premier challenge and they used all their experience to ensure that they were always ahead in the game. Well led by player of the game Marie Russell who bagged 2.2 on the day. Lismore led at the break 2.07 to 1.04 and Clonoulty never looked like getting any closer. Clonoultys goals in either halves coming from Cßit Devanne and Cora Hennessey were only glimmers of hope for the Tipperary, and it was these two that Clonoulty depended on but their young team did not have enough support. Lismore on the other hand were well prepared and marshalled Sarah Fryday very well while having their own scores well distributed with Aoife Hannon totalling 1.7 and Katie McGlone netting two goals and Sarah Curran putting in a good display over the hour. Lismore were worthy winners will now represent Munster in the All-Ireland Intermediate semi-final.
